Our mission is to preserve, promote and protect Brookhaven Airport and its flight operations, and to enhance the safety and the wonderful community spirit of general aviation.
We seek to be good, responsible neighbors with our larger community in Suffolk County by maintaining a safe and orderly operation of the airport. We are developing noise abatement procedures with the regulatory authorities. We are also planning educational and enteraining outreach activities to our neighbors.

The Town of Brookhaven had a meeting with the Shinnecock Indian Tribe on Friday, May 8, at KHWV to discuss the possibility of using the property for a casino. We are in contact with Dan Panico and Ed Romaine to discuss the issue further. We also made contact with AOPA.
